Bethune-Cookman University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the baccalaureate and master’s degrees. Bethune-Cookman University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Inquiries relevant to University operations, such as admissions, registration, financial aid, academic and student support programs, etc., should be directed to the appropriate Â鶹ֱ²¥ department.

Â鶹ֱ²¥ was granted initial institutional accreditation by SACSCOC in 1947 and has continually received decennial reaffirmation since then. Â鶹ֱ²¥’s accreditation was last reaffirmed in 2022 and next decennial reaffirmation of accreditation is scheduled for 2030 including a Fifth-Year Interim Report (FYIR) required in March 2026.
